Shipping and Delivery

IMPORTANT:

1. European Union (EU) customers, we have resumed shipping to the EU, however please keep in mind that all taxes upon arrival in your country will be your responsibility. 

Do take note that you will be responsible for all taxes charged on your orders arrival in your country. We will not be held responsible in the event that you decide not to pay the tax on your orders arrival in your country. We hold no control over the amount of tax that will be charged for your order. This is decided by your country's Tax department and is based upon your country's law.

Please be aware of this before you purchase. 

Please take note that delivery delays caused by Covid 19 or the holiday season are out of our hands and we have no control over these situations.

We ask for your patience and kind understanding during this time. 

Shipping Policy

Local orders: All local orders are sent out via PosLaju 
Minimum order amount of RM50

International orders:

All international orders are shipping as usual

We are currently using FedEx (which is our default) but also are able to ship by DHL for all our international packages. If you'd prefer one or the other kindly make a note in your order, otherwise we will choose one for your order. We understand the prices are a little steeper but this ensures that you can still receive your packages and in a much faster time frame (2-3 days to less than a week depending on your location) than via regular mail which can take up to 3 weeks. 

*if you get a message saying "some items do not ship to your area" kindly send us an email at admin@smidapapercompany.com and we'll be more than happy to help you out :) 

**some addresses fall under an "out of delivery area" and there is an added surcharge for this. Do take note that the Out of Delivery Area surcharge is an additional RM86 on the shipping fee you paid at checkout. We will not offer refunds or cancellations. 

If your address happens to fall under this category we will reach out to you via email to proceed with the added surcharge. We have no way of knowing if your address falls under this category until we go to ship your order (although we have found that many Australian addresses fall under this category).

Do take note that no refund will be offered if you decide to cancel your order because of the added surcharge
